We've interviewed and analysed more than 35 of the top Australian web
hosting companies and have compiled a list of the top 10 that we judge
as being the most "search engine friendly".
The web hosting company you use can have an impact on the effectiveness of your search engine optimisation
campaign. Its important to assess the web host you select on its
search engine "friendliness" as well as on other factors such as price,
features, and customer support.
In our analysis, we looked at
factors such as the physical location of the servers, URL rewrite
capability (linux and Windows), performance, up-time, etc. The score
that you see below is an aggregate of these factors with additional
weight on areas that we deem essential to assist with your rankings in
the Australian and global search engines. Hosts with the same score
were then sorted by the performance of their servers based on load time.
