The Value of Good Website Content
Thu, 22 Feb 2007 02:23:49 by Mary-Ann Dick

On the internet everything is fast paced and with so much information and very little available time, it?s too easy to lose your website visitor in a matter of seconds.  You only have several seconds to capture the reader?s attention. So if you want your website to stand out from the crowd then you have to give the reader something of value to them, and to do so you need to ensure you write original, good quality content in such a way that your readers actually want to read it.

The by-products of undertaking this task properly are:

·         Your audience will return regularly if the content is interesting, well written and regularly updated

·         Your link popularity will improve as other websites will want to link to your site that is rich in unique content

·         No issues with duplicate content

·         Search engines will spider your site more frequently if you update content regularly

We all understand that with so much information thrown at us these days we very quickly cull information that is poorly written, unimaginative etc.  So remember to focus on providing real value to your readers rather than simply posting content from other sites.
