Designing Your Website with SEO In Mind
Sun, 11 Mar 2007 23:27:49 by Mary-Ann Dick

You have a great idea, you have selected your domain name and are in the process of briefing your Web Design Company on the type of website you are looking for.

One of the fundamental questions you really should ask your Web Design Company at this point is ?Will my site be Search Engine Friendly??

Your website certainly needs to be appealing to the potential customer, however in order for it to be seen by the customer, it firstly has to be seen by the search engines.

So when considering a new website design, consider both the visual aspect (what the end user sees) and the technical aspect (ensuring the site is search engine friendly) and ensure the Web Design Company you pay your hard earned dollars to, is SEO aware and prepared to integrate Seo into your website design.

Often the Web Design Company does not have the in-house resources required to properly integrate SEO into site designs, so you may need to consider outsourcing this part of your project to a Specialized SEO firm, however it is important to do this at the initial phase of your website design in order to avoid costly mistakes, such as having to re-write some pages in order for them to be viewed by the search engines.
